Rufus Feltz

Rufus started singing and performing from an early age in the seventies when his mother bought him a "soap on a rope" toy microphone one Christmas. "He would spend in the shower hours in the shower singing" his mother recalls, "then he would emerge foaming at the mouth with soap in hand".

Rufus's love of music lead him to begin performing in school musicals often taking the lead part in many of them, his rendition of the classic "l've got rhythm" whilst playing the spoons was talked about throughout his childhood years.

It was to be some time before Rufus formed his first band at college called "Captain Cyclone and the Dado Experience" who performed locally for a few years before disbanding due to health reasons. His next venture was fronting the soft rock outfit "Magma" who in the 80's toured with many "New Wave of British Heavy Metal" bands such as "Stenchpipe" and "Curtains of Beef".

Wanting to broaden his musical repertoire he began working with Yorkshire rockers
"Fat Man Hernia Underdog" co writing their one hit wonder "Yer Ain't Seen Nothin Pet" a timeless classic that would grace our airwaves for years to come.

Returning South Rufus began working with Indie band "Toilet Fish" on their critically acclaimed debut album "Flash in the Pan" which contains the cover hit version of "My Auntie Annie Taught Me To Shimmy".

Rufus Feltz is reported to be living and playing in the London area and promoting his new workout videos "Glam for Health" and "Rocking with Rufus".
