Pussie
Galam
Puss was
brought up by Nuns in a strict convent boarding school in Walton
upon Studley. She managed to escape in full wimple and cloak after
winning the lead part 'Maria' in The Sound of Music. Laying low
for a few years, and mastering the blowing of the large instument
she'd found in a skip, she finally emerged as lead saxophonist
for the Salvation Army, only to be ousted for refusing to comply
with dress codes, by opting for latex and platforms instead of
regulation 'american tan' tights and hush puppies.
The next
few years were spent singing for her supper on street corners,
with the occasional guest spot at Peppermint Hippo's on Thursday
afternoons (pension day)- consessions for OAPs!
Puss was
eventually found by Rufus, prowling around his back passage late
one night, feeling sorry for her he took her in and the rest,
as they say, is history.
